SpecialGuest teamed with Google initiative Art, Copy, & Code to build an unprecedented program for YouTube called Awesome Stuff Week. The proposition was to turn YouTube into a place for product discovery leading up to holiday shopping.

SpecialGuest leveraged our growing network of creators to partner with top personalities famous for “unboxing” videos. These creators speak genuinely to their audiences so their content doesn’t seem like a marketing or sales campaign.

Our holiday content included 35 pieces of video content (shot in one day!) that released daily over Black Friday week and Cyber Monday week. Five YouTube creators were paired with 20 popular, trending, and undiscovered or cool products. Video after video showcased products in compelling, innovative ways, and viewers could shop right from the videos while they were watching.
