In 2022, SpecialGuest collaborated with Meta to draw more players to its latest VR game, Horizon Worlds, and make them play longer.

VR games have been gaining popularity over the years. They’re the next big thing in the gaming community. Still, the lifetime of a VR game is short; people tend to lose interest quickly. SpecialGuest set out to build a campaign for Meta that would exhibit the fun connection people can make with their friends and family in the virtual Horizon Worlds—and encourage people to stay a while. 

Through video for social media, we showed how easy it is to put on the VR set to enter the gaming world, where people can meet up with friends to play basketball, golf, or other games. The campaign emphasized the real, fun connections players can make with friends in the virtual world—from the comfort of their own home! This campaign encouraged more people to join and continuously play Horizon Worlds.
